After joining my building’s committee, I saw how widespread issues like council policies and strata management affect many high-rise apartments.
I thought, why reinvent the wheel when we can share knowledge and work together to benefit owners and residents.
Ben has been a CBD resident for over six years and currently serves as the Presiding Officer of Kodo Apartments, overseeing 202 units. By day, Ben is a Financial Adviser and also holds the role of Deputy President of the Adelaide Parklands Association, reflecting his strong ties to the local community.
His journey into apartment living advocacy began when he joined the committee of his building in 2019. Ben quickly realised that the challenges his building faced—related to council policies, planning, and strata management—were shared by many others. This insight inspired his commitment to building a collective platform for apartment owners to share knowledge and solutions, which led him to become a founding member of the AAOA.
